AKC Canine Good Citizen Group Class

Service Description

This intermediate level class is the second step in the AKC Family Dog Program. This course highlights the importance of dog ownership responsibility, handling skills, and appropriate on leash introductions with people and other dogs. Throughout this course, Maine Canine Company will provide your dog with real life training experiences. We prepare each team to go out into public and confidently handle distractions and obstacles of every day life. At the end of this six week course owners have the opportunity to certify with their dog as an AKC Canine Good Citizen. The is no age requirement for this class, or for the AKC test. There is also no breed or purebred requirement. This class and certification is eligible for all dogs or every walk of life! Requirements for booking: Each participating dog must complete basic obedience prior to booking this course. Any dog who has displayed aggression in the past is ineligible for CGC certification. All dogs must be vaccinated (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella)

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please give Manie Canine Company, LLC at least 24 hours notice. Due to high demand, failure to do so will result in a $50 charge. Cancelations or rescheduling 24 hours in advance will result in no extra charge.
